Eluna Garage
Car maintenance log built around what is left, not what it cost.
Eluna Garage is a car maintenance log built around one screen: what is left before the next service, not what the last one cost. Every part is a tile with a distance and a date on it, closest at the top. No account, no server, nothing to subscribe to — the history is a database on your own phone.
It already knows the intervals
- A catalogue of 36 parts — oil, filters, brake fluid, timing belt, spark plugs, coolant
- Each comes with a normal interval in distance and in months; change any you disagree with
- Turn on only the parts your car actually has
The first day is not an empty screen
- Three questions per part — recently, long ago, or no idea — and the board is built the first evening
- A guess is drawn as a guess: dashed outline and a "~"
- What nobody knows says "no data" instead of showing an invented number
One visit, one record
- A garage hands you one invoice with six lines, so the app takes one record: date, odometer, total, tick what was done, photograph the invoice
- "Going to a garage" lays out due, soon and done recently in large type — hand the phone over or share it as plain text
- Fill-ups take three fields; consumption is worked out full tank to full tank, and anything approximate says so
Paperwork with a deadline
- Insurance, roadworthiness test, road tax, driving licence — the usual intervals for 198 countries are already filled in
- The reminder comes twice: at the notice you choose and the evening before
- At most one reminder a week, glued into a single line when several parts fall due together
When you sell the car
- A PDF report built on the phone: work carried out, odometer history, photographs
- VIN and amounts are left out unless you switch them on
- The history also hands over as a file that adds a vehicle on the buyer's phone and never overwrites one
Kept to yourself
- No account, no server of ours, no location, no OBD adapter
- Face ID or a PIN, and an export you can take away — a ZIP with every record and photo, or CSV
- The cloud vault is optional and off until you switch it on: an encrypted copy in your own iCloud
Questions
Does it need an OBD adapter or a connection to the car?
No. You enter the odometer yourself, and that is the only number the app needs.
Do I have to fill in a year of history before it is useful?
No. It asks three questions per part — recently, long ago, or no idea — and builds the board from your answers on the first evening.
Will it tell me a job is unnecessary?
No. It reports what your records say and stops there. It has not seen your car.
Does it work offline?
Yes, entirely. The cloud vault is optional and off until you switch it on.
Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no subscription, no locked features — the optional tip unlocks nothing, because nothing is locked.
